So here i am. Trying to find ways to earn $$ with my blog. If i google the internet you find people making hundreds of thousands of dollars with affiliate programs. So i've done some research and found out there are lots of ways to earn money with these programs. So i made some changes to this blog. 

First of all i took off all the Adsense banners from my blog, replacing them by clickbank Hopads. The reason i did that is because now i'm more flexible on where i place banners and so i can target my visitors more easy. As you can see on my previous post i added a Hopad with tabs wright in the post, i targeted info on:

Now the next step is getting myself into the SEO theory. This is the key to affiliate programs. No traffic simply means no selling. So next step, cumming week will be to get more traffic to my site. 

Now i don't want to keep you waiting, so I’m going to start by sharing a Youtube film i recently watched. Most of the Affiliate fims you see on Youtube have a spammy and shaky. But this guy actually seems to talks some sense and shows a few tricks on how to promote your website with free tools on the internet. So enjoy watching it. Hope it can help you to. 

Using Facebook, Twitter and Digg to get traffic on my blog

A few weeks ago I submitted my websites to Bing, Google and Yahoo. Whenever I search for “fun for today blogspot” you’ll find me on top of all the search results. That may look like a good thing. But, whenever i shorten my search to fun for today I drop down and you won’t find me on the first (few) pages. On Google you’ll find me, but on yahoo and Bing I can’t find the blog back. I’ll give it some more time before I start my research on this issue.

What I want to write about today is my mix of social media I use to generate traffic on my Blog.  I created a Facebook Fanpage, a Twitter account and a DIGG account. I figured if I want any traffic on my blog fast I’ll need social media to accelerate it. As you can see in the picture I called them all the same and also use them for the same purpose. You can imagine what I post on them to redirect the members to my Blog. But how do you get Followers on Twitter, Facebook and Digg.

Well I started googeling how I can get followers on twitter fast and free. And what happens then is that you get all kinds of crappy, crazy, funny and most of all spammy systems that promise anything between 500 and 5000 followers in a few days. And you’ll be surprised on how much effort people put in making these spammy sites. Wel after a day or so I found Twiends.com.  This site is brilliant. Let me explain to you how it works.

If you go to Twiends you have to log in with your Facebook and/or Twitter account. And then you’re ready to start. What they do is: They give you credits for every account you follow on twitter or every page you “like” on facebook. You can get credits anywhere between 1 and 10 for each follow or “like”. With the credits you earn you can pay the followers that want to follow you. It’s based on reciprocity. It works best with Twitter. Up till now i got about 2500 followers in a little less than 2 weeks. On facebook I got about 370 members on my page. You can also filter members on interests.

The effect is pretty amazing. Not yet what I’m looking for, but it’s interesting. Every time I post my bloglink on Twitter you see the amount of page views grow. Same thing for Facebook.  The last week I got an average of about 100 unique visitors daily. Which to me is impressive cause I’m just an amature trying to find out how the blogging world works.

Digg is social network I still need to focus on. But it is on my to do list. So as soon as I have more info on Digg I’ll write a post on it.

Hi,

Ok, I started this blog in the beginning of December 2010. As I wrote before. It’s my very first blog, and I see it as an experiment. So in the coming posts I’m going to explain to you what my goal is, what I did and where my blog stands.

Let’s start with my blog. When I first designed it looked spammy and I didn’t like the look of it. Also some people complained to me that is wasn’t a very nice blog. So I decided to do some research on templates and ways to build up my blog. Wich led me to my recent design.  On my homepage I will keep you up to date on my ongoing experiment as an amature blogger. Then on the top of my blog you see the ‘taps’. This is where you will find the actual content of what this blog is all about, FUN!

I’ve made 9 taps. Those are actually separate pages I’ll give you them here:

Most of the content that was on my previous designed was transferred to the different pages. And off course some of it didn’t make it to the new layout. Just because I didn’t like it enough to repost it.
